Founder & Event Designer, Aubrey Akana
Born and raised in Hawaii, Aubrey ventured out to see the world becoming a flight attendant with her new home base in New York City. After years of travelling the world to Europe and back, Aubrey returned to her homeland Hawaii to start a family and the creative business she had always dreamed of, Savoir Faire events.
Today, Savoir Faire events is growing strong with new clients, events, partnerships and press. As a mother of three, Aubrey knows quite well how to multi-task staying organized and on top of her game. Always keeping a calm demeanor and a smile is the key in both business and in day to day life.
Aubrey has always had an interest in design and is excellent at illustrating her ideas out on paper. You won’t just hear about them, she can actually show you her visions for your event. Always one step ahead on the trends, Aubrey uses future fashion and color forecasts for additional inspiration to her plans; incorporating them into the local surroundings for an eco-chic character unlike any other event planner in the area. Out of the box thinking done in the most economic and eco-friendly way possible.

New to Hawaii, Sabrina specializes in weddings and events decoration with an extensive portfolio to match.
Born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland, Sabrina joins Savoir Faire events having begun her professional florist career in 2002 while managing a modern flower shop near Zurich. To further her knowledge on exotic florals, Hawaii was the first choice to expand her passion for a broader local and tropical floral selection.

The number one goal is for each detail to come from recycled or recyclable materials, reusable items, and produced by a local businesses. Farmers markets are our favorite place to get inspired!
